Job purpose/summary
With a strong background in application design and architecture, this role will provide the chance to further grow your career whilst contributing to the success of the organization. This role has a high potential for the right person to fast-track to greater responsibilities of client and program management. This role requires an effective member of the team from concept to client handover to deliver world-class building solutions.
Duties and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing planning documents, conceptual and schematic designs, illustrations and graphics, construction details, construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of public and private sector projects
- Providing project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation
- Providing professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects
- Providing any design work necessary for marketing and sales
- Working with the project team on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents
- Coordinating vendors, clients, and contractors
- Assisting with proposal preparation within the architectural discipline
- Developing, guiding, and mentoring team members on tailoring design approaches to achieve the best project value
- Delivering iterative design ideas that meet project goals including project schedules, budgets, applicable codes
- Carrying architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation
- Providing rough budgetary or formal estimates for projects based upon available guidelines and knowledge of manufacturing constraints
