Job Description

Job purpose/summary

This role requires leadership skills, expertise in requirements analysis, communication, change management, process improvement, and effectively collaborating across various IT and business functions. This role will require a generalist who can contribute to development, system operations, security hardening, and performance engineering.

Duties and responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing work products, documentation of operational and business objectives, best technology capabilities, and task level resource requirements
  • Creating functional and technical design specifications based on business requirements provided by the end-users 
  • Performing proactive investigations to surface opportunities for process improvements as well as assisting in the preparation of necessary functional specifications for newly proposed systems solutions
  • Developing systems security engineering project plans based on systems engineering best practices that document system key performance parameters that are aligned with risk countermeasures providing functional and/or technical leadership in analysis and development of key information and control needs
  • Supporting change management and training programs to ensure application solutions
  • Providing system development life cycle management for applications supported to customers for installed applications including the planning and implementation of upgrades and enhancements, and technical support to resolve system problems

  • Identifying business processes within selected areas, where information technology can be utilized to improve management and increasing efficiency
  • Analyzing complex problems to be addressed with automated system solutions using best practices
  • Offering technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improving the integrity
  • Providing strategic analysis & guidance related to systems aiding in key decision making maintaining operational knowledge of the systems used to track enterprise-wide data
  • Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
  • Utilizing  technical ability to modify jobs, models, processes, network definitions, and documentation
  • Providing technical advice and assistance to testing sites and user community on program objectives, testing execution protocols and procedures, system operations, and reporting criteria
